Position Summary
Prometheus Federal Services (PFS) is a trusted partner of federal health agencies. We are exploring the addition of an experienced Technical Recruiter to support full-cycle recruiting for technology, data, and administrative and general management consulting roles at our growing firm. This role partners closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements, develop effective sourcing strategies, and deliver high-quality candidates in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of technical roles, federal contracting considerations, and a consultative approach to recruiting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Senior Director of Human Capital, hiring managers, and program leadership to understand role requirements, skill needs, and hiring timelines
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting for technical and management consulting positions, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and candidate selection
  • Develop and post compliant, high-quality job descriptions aligned with business needs, federal contracting requirements, and program objectives
  • Source candidates using JazzHR, LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, referrals, internal databases, and targeted outreach strategies
  • Conduct recruiter screens to assess technical competencies, experience, and cultural fit
  • Coordinate and prepare candidates for interviews; ensure a positive and professional candidate experience
  • Partner with HR leadership and senior leadership to support salary discussions and offer coordination
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation, dispositions, and pipeline tracking within JazzHR
  • Build and maintain a proactive talent pipeline for recurring and strategic technical and consulting roles
  • Track and analyze recruiting activity and outcomes to support workforce planning and time-to-fill goals
  • Ensure all recruiting activity complies with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and internal policies
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • Six (6) + years of experience recruiting for technical and management consultant roles
  • Experience recruiting in a federal consulting or government contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or federal healthcare consulting programs
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience using the JazzHR applicant tracking system
  • Strong experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes within an ATS
  • Ability to assess both technical competencies (IT, data, engineering, health informatics) and consulting skill sets (client-facing experience, analytical skills, communication)
  • Excellent stakeholder partnership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions simultaneously across funded hiring needs
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Preferred Qualification
  • Advanced sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter and Indeed
  • Familiarity with a clearance-adjacent or public trust-adjacent role
