THE WORK
As an Environmental Safety and Health Engineer with Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS), your role is pivotal in ensuring a safe and environmentally responsible workplace. Your responsibilities will encompass both operational and strategic aspects of the site's Industrial Hygiene programs and the Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) management system. You will also play a crucial role in supporting teams engaged across RMS.
Key responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive environmental, safety, and health services to maintain a secure and compliant workplace.
Focus areas may include Ergonomics, Injury and Accident Investigations, Fall Protection, EPCRA reporting, Stormwater Management, Communications, ESH Metrics and Trends, ESH Management System, ESH Training Management, ESH Procedure Management, Safety Committees, Emergency Evacuations & Crisis Management, Electrical Safety, Contractor Safety, Cranes & Slings, Hazard Communication, Powered Industrial Trucks
Represent the organization at various levels, effectively conveying the company's strategy and objectives.
Offer leadership and team support to ESH department members.
