We are seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to support environmental, health, and safety operations across multiple advanced manufacturing locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on environmental health and safety professional with strong expertise in regulatory compliance, hazardous materials management, and manufacturing environments.
Responsibilities
- Manage environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple facilities.
- Coordinate hazardous waste management activities, including storage, labeling, manifesting, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain environmental compliance programs and support regulatory reporting activities.
- Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Manage chemical inventory programs and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) systems.
- Support hazardous materials and spill response activities.
- Lead employee training programs related to EHS compliance and safety initiatives.
- Assist with incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
- Support industrial hygiene activities, including exposure monitoring and workplace assessments.
- Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, RCRA, and applicable state and local regulations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific field.
- 5+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, or semiconductor environment.
- Experience with environmental compliance programs and hazardous waste management.
- Strong understanding of EPA, OSHA, and RCRA regulations.
- Experience with chemical safety programs, SDS management, and hazardous materials handling.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Semiconductor or cleanroom manufacturing experience.
- Industrial hygiene experience.
- Environmental permitting experience.
- Tier II or TRI reporting experience.
- OSHA 30 certification.
- HAZWOPER certification.
- NFPA 70E experience.
- ASP, CSP, CHMM, or related certifications.
- Experience supporting multiple facilities or locations.
