Quantum Computing Inc. is an innovative photonics and quantum technology company focused on providing accessible and affordable quantum solutions for applications in high-performance computing, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and remote sensing.

We are seeking an experienced EHS Engineer to support environmental, health, and safety operations across multiple advanced manufacturing locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on environmental health and safety professional with strong expertise in regulatory compliance, hazardous materials management, and manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

  • Manage environmental, health, and safety programs across multiple facilities.
  • Coordinate hazardous waste management activities, including storage, labeling, manifesting, and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain environmental compliance programs and support regulatory reporting activities.
  • Conduct safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Manage chemical inventory programs and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) systems.
  • Support hazardous materials and spill response activities.
  • Lead employee training programs related to EHS compliance and safety initiatives.
  • Assist with incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions.
  • Support industrial hygiene activities, including exposure monitoring and workplace assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with EPA, OSHA, RCRA, and applicable state and local regulations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, or a related scientific field.
  • 5+ years of EHS experience within a manufacturing, industrial, chemical, pharmaceutical, electronics, or semiconductor environment.
  • Experience with environmental compliance programs and hazardous waste management.
  • Strong understanding of EPA, OSHA, and RCRA regulations.
  • Experience with chemical safety programs, SDS management, and hazardous materials handling.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Semiconductor or cleanroom manufacturing experience.
  • Industrial hygiene experience.
  • Environmental permitting experience.
  • Tier II or TRI reporting experience.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
  • HAZWOPER certification.
  • NFPA 70E experience.
  • ASP, CSP, CHMM, or related certifications.
  • Experience supporting multiple facilities or locations.
