Job description

You will be a Safety Compliance Engineer with Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control manufacturing facility in Troy, Alabama. Here, you will become a member of a dynamic Environmental, Safety, and Health team supporting all programs at the Troy site.


What You Will Be Doing


As a Safety Compliance Engineer, you will analyze accident and injury data to develop mitigation strategies, ensuring adherence to safety regulations and safeguarding employees from potential hazards.


Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Conducting compliance assessments to verify adherence to safety standards and procedures.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement ergonomic tools and practices within manufacturing operations.

  • Developing job hazard analyses and risk assessments to support manufacturing processes.

  • Conducting incident investigations with recommended corrective actions.

  • Applying relevant standards such as DOD, NFPA, OSHA, and ANSI.

  • Daily interaction within manufacturing areas is expected, requiring active engagement.

  • The ideal candidate should be willing to work on-call and across various shifts as needed, and occasional travel may be required.
