As we continue to grow, we're searching for passionate team members to join our growing team. You'll be involved in every aspect of operations as we rapidly expand across Los Angeles and beyond! About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator to support and maintain company-wide health, safety, and compliance programs across multiple operational sites. This role will work closely with the HR Generalist and Operations teams to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, workers' compensation procedures, workplace safety initiatives, and drug testing programs. The ideal candidate is organized, hands-on, and experienced in safety coordination within warehouse, fleet, transportation, or logistics environments. What You'll Do: Health & Safety Compliance Support and maintain company health & safety programs Ensure compliance with OSHA, Cal/OSHA, and workplace safety regulations Conduct routine site safety inspections Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans Maintain safety records, logs, and required compliance documentation Coordinate and track employee safety trainings and certifications Workers' Compensation Administration Manage workers' compensation claims and documentation Coordinate with insurance carriers, medical providers, and employees throughout the claims process Conduct safety audits related to workers' compensation claims and return-to-work programs Monitor injury trends and recommend preventative safety measures Drug Testing Coordinate TrustLine applications and Live Scan fingerprinting processes as needed Serve as onsite collector for drug testing as needed Maintain confidential testing records and compliance procedures Ensure all testing supplies and procedures are properly maintained Safety Audits & Inspections Perform regular safety audits Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions Assist with implementing and enforcing company safety policies and procedures Conduct follow-up inspections to ensure compliance improvements are completed Account & Vendor Management Support relationships with workers' compensation, drug testing, and safety vendors Coordinate scheduling and communication with third-party providers Assist with maintaining service agreements and compliance records What You'll Bring to the Table: 2+ years of experience in Environmental Health & Safety, HR compliance, workers' compensation, or a related field Knowledge of OSHA and California workplace safety regulations Experience managing workers' compensation claims preferred Experience coordinating drug & alcohol testing programs preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Proficient with Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace Ability to handle confidential information professionally Bonus Points For: Experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse, or fleet operations OSHA certification or safety-related certification preferred Physical Requirements: Ability to walk garage depot floors and conduct onsite inspections Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally Benefits: Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and company holidays Career growth opportunities within a fast-growing fleet operations company Equal Opportunity Employer: 8Fleet is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
