Job description

We're expanding our team and looking for a high-energy, results-driven Healthcare Recruiter to join our dynamic office in Frisco, Texas. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, love building relationships with healthcare professionals, and want to make a real difference in nurses' careers through travel assignments, this is the role for you.

IMPORTANT : Its a work from office opportunity

Salary Range: $55k - $60k per year. Flexibility depends on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively source, screen, and recruit qualified travel nurses (RNs and specialties) using job boards, social media, LinkedIn, candidate databases, referrals, and outbound calling.

  • Conduct thorough interviews, verify licenses, credentials, and experience to ensure compliance and strong candidate fit for travel contracts.

  • Match nurses with top-paying travel assignments based on their skills, preferred locations, compensation needs, and career goals.

  • Guide candidates through the entire placement process - from application and interviews to credentialing, compliance, contract negotiation, and onboarding.

  • Build lasting relationships with placed nurses to support them during assignments, encourage extensions, and generate future placements and referrals.

  • Collaborate closely with account managers, facility clients, and internal teams (payroll, compliance) to ensure smooth onboarding and high satisfaction.

  • Meet and exceed weekly and monthly recruiting metrics, including calls, submissions, interviews, and placements.

  • Stay up to date on travel nursing market trends, pay packages, licensing requirements (including Nurse Licensure Compact), and competitive landscape.

Qualifications & Requirements
  • 2-3+ years of recruiting experience in healthcare staffing, travel nursing, or high-volume recruitment.

  • Proven success in sourcing, interviewing, and closing candidates in a metrics-driven environment.

  • Strong sales acumen combined with excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

  • Knowledge of nursing credentials, licensure, background checks, and healthcare compliance is a big plus.

  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple candidate pipelines simultaneously.

  • Proficiency with ATS systems, LinkedIn Recruiter, Microsoft Office/Google Workspace, and recruiting tools.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or related field is preferred.

  • Must be comfortable working onsite in our Frisco, TX office.
