To thrive as a Health Care Tech, you need a solid understanding of basic patient care, vital sign monitoring, and medical terminology, often supported by a certificate or associate degree in healthcare technology or a related field. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, patient monitoring devices, and diagnostic equipment is typically required. Strong communication, attention to detail, and teamwork skills help you effectively support both patients and healthcare professionals. These competencies are crucial for ensuring safe, accurate patient care and efficient clinical operations.
