Business Overview:
The Strategy & Transformation (S&T) organization partners with BNP Paribas' executive management and senior leadership to design and drive strategically important initiatives and projects, supporting the development and transformation of the Bank in the region. These initiatives cover the full change management value chain from strategy to implementation, including strategic planning, business development, operating model transformation, process reengineering, and advanced analytics.
Our organization is comprised of several sub-teams: 1) Consulting & Transformation (C&T), 2) Analytics Lab, 3) Transversal Change, 4) CEO Office, 5) Sustainability Office, and 6) Corporate Governance. We deliver value across the region through an integrated approach with deep international connectivity and a strong focus on servicing internal clients. Our team is highly collaborative internally and with clients across the Bank. Engagements often span multiple business lines, functions, and/or regions within various BNP Paribas entities, enabling employees to build a strong network upon which to build their career. Responsibilities:
As Head of Transformation Americas and member of the C&T management team, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing the Bank's operational excellence and transformation agenda across the region. This is a high-impact leadership position with significant autonomy and visibility, reporting directly to the Head of Consulting & Transformation.
  • Shape the vision, direction, and service offerings of Transformation Americas in alignment with the Bank's strategic priorities including Process Efficiency, Org. Design, Target Operating Model, Digital Solutions, and Implementation & Change Management
  • Establish and enforce problem framing standards across the portfolio, aligning initiatives to strategic priorities, defining clear success metrics, and guiding teams through ambiguity
  • Build and sustain trusted advisory relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization, positioning the team as a strategic partner for high-impact Transformation initiatives
  • Oversee a complex transformation portfolio end-to-end, ensuring disciplined execution, effective resource allocation, transparent performance tracking, and value capture post-implementation
  • Lead data-driven problem solving, ensuring analytical depth, consistent application of methodologies, and development of actionable, enterprise-level recommendations aligned with business priorities
  • Deliver clear, structured, and impactful communications to senior stakeholders, translating complex analyses into actionable insights
  • Leverage deep institutional and industry knowledge to shape strategic direction, develop repeatable methodologies, and embed knowledge creation/sharing in the team's culture and client value proposition
  • Drive innovation and thought leadership by advancing methodologies, incorporating emerging technologies (e.g., AI), and shaping the evolution of transformation capabilities across the organization
  • Lead, coach, and develop high-performing teams by fostering feedback-driven culture, supporting career growth, and strengthening capabilities aligned with evolving transformation needs
  • Contribute to the broader S&T management agenda, including budget oversight, hiring, training, knowledge management, and philanthropic initiatives.
  • Foster strong connectivity and collaboration with other Consulting & Transformation (C&T) teams globally

Minimum Required Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in consulting, banking transformation, or enterprise change roles, including significant leadership responsibility
  • Proven track record leading large-scale, complex transformation programs at enterprise or regional level across operating model, process, and technology domains
  • Demonstrated ownership of transformation portfolios, including prioritization, resource allocation, and value delivery at scale
  • Extensive experience engaging, influencing, and advising senior executives on strategic and operational matters
  • Deep understanding of CIB / banking operating models, including front-to-back processes and control environments

Required Competencies:
  • Demonstrate experience driving transformation agendas and developing strategic plans
  • Advance knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (e.g. issue analysis), proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and analytical skills
  • Expertise in program / project management
  • Significant experience in near / offshoring and process streamlining (e.g. lean) methodologies
  • Excellent communication across verbal, written and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree / MBA
  • Experience in a top-tier consulting firm or equivalent internal strategy / transformation function
  • Proven experience leading transformation initiatives within a global financial institution, ideally in CIB
  • Experience driving AI-enabled or advanced analyticsdriven strategic programs
  • Track record of operating in complex, global, matrixed organizations
  • Experience building or scaling transformation capabilities, functions, or methodologies
  • Strong familiarity with BNP Paribas organization and Americas platform

The expected starting salary range for this position is between$220,000to $250,000annually. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in role, base salary of internal peers, prior performance, business line, and geographic/office location.
