Head of Operations / VP Operations Brooklyn, NY | Hybrid | $220-$225K Base + Growth Opportunity
We are partnering with a rapidly growing behavioral health organization seeking a senior operational leader to step in as the architect of scale.
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in building structure out of growth, aligning teams, and turning vision into repeatable systems. The organization is entering a major expansion phase and needs a strong operator who can bring clarity, accountability, and execution discipline.
The Opportunity
You will serve as the operational backbone of the organization, working directly with executive leadership to design and implement the systems that allow the company to scale sustainably.
This is not a maintenance role—it’s a build + transform + lead position.
You will be responsible for creating operational alignment across clinical and administrative teams while introducing frameworks that improve visibility, efficiency, and performance.
Key Responsibilities
Build and scale end-to-end operational systems across multiple teams
Implement structured operating rhythms (KPIs, dashboards, scorecards, meetings, accountability systems)
Lead cross-functional execution across clinical, admin, and leadership teams
Introduce or optimize EOS-style operating frameworks to improve organizational clarity
Identify inefficiencies and redesign workflows for scale and consistency
Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and growth initiatives
Develop leadership capability across departments and strengthen accountability structures
Ensure high-quality service delivery while scaling operational capacity
Ideal Candidate Profile
We’re looking for a proven operator who has:
Held a senior leadership role (VP Ops, COO, Director of Operations, etc.)
Experience implementing EOS or similar operating systems/frameworks
Built or scaled operations in healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-site services
Strong track record of creating systems, not just managing them
Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational design skills
What Makes This Role Unique
Direct influence on company strategy and scale trajectory
Opportunity to build infrastructure from the ground up at a growth-stage organization
High autonomy and executive-level visibility
Mission-driven behavioral health environment
Real ownership over operational design and performance systems
Compensation & Logistics
$175,000 – $225,000 base salary
Based in Brooklyn, NY (Hybrid model)
Light travel required
High-impact leadership role with significant growth potential
Who This Is For
This role is ideal for someone who naturally thinks in systems—someone who can walk into complexity, create structure, and leave behind a fully functioning operational engine.
If you’ve built operating rhythms, implemented EOS or similar frameworks, and led teams through scale phases, this is a rare opportunity to step into a defining leadership seat.
