We are seeking a visionary leader to serve as our Senior Director, Head of General Bank Lending Platform, responsible for defining and driving the strategy, governance, and evolution of our loan origination technology ecosystem across consumer, small business, and commercial lending.  This highly visible leadership role will own the bank's lending platform strategy, with primary responsibility for the nCino Loan Origination Platform, ensuring it enables business growth, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and an exceptional client experience.

As a key partner to Lending, Operations, Credit, Technology, Digital, Risk, and Compliance leaders, you'll shape the future of lending by driving modernization initiatives, optimizing platform capabilities, and delivering innovative solutions that support the bank's long-term strategy.


Responsibilities & Qualifications

Duties & Responsibilities:
Lending Platform Strategy – Lead the strategic roadmap, governance, and long-term evolution of the General Bank’s loan origination technology platforms. Lead platform strategy for both consumer and business/commercial lending solutions, with emphasis on scalability, automation, integration, and customer experience. Establish platform priorities aligned with enterprise growth objectives, operational efficiency goals, and regulatory expectations. Evaluate emerging technologies, vendor capabilities, and digital lending trends to drive continuous innovation.
Collaboration - Serves as liaison between lending business teams and technology organizations. Translate strategic business objectives into enterprise technology initiatives, platform enhancements, and delivery priorities.Partners with technology leadership to drive successful execution of platform modernization, integrations, workflow automation, and digital transformation initiatives.
Product Governance & Delivery – Lead the intake, prioritization, and execution framework for platform enhancements and strategic initiatives. Ensure delivery teams maintain strong alignment between business requirements, technical solutions, and operational outcomes. Drive Agile product management disciplines, release management governance, and platform performance measurement. Manage relationships with key technology vendors, implementation partners, and third-party providers.
Operational & Risk Management - Ensure lending platforms support compliant, efficient, and well-controlled lending processes. Partner with Risk, Compliance, Audit, and Legal teams to ensure platform capabilities align with regulatory requirements and internal policies. Lead efforts to improve operational performance, reduce manual processes, and strengthen data quality and reporting capabilities. Support business continuity, platform resiliency, and operational risk management practices.
Managerial Functions - Leads project teams and associates who perform product management and platform strategy function. Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies in order to meet objectives. Manages the performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff.
