At Family Development Services (FDS), we are the exclusive provider of Head Start and Early Head Start programs for Marion and Hamilton Counties. Our mission is to improve the lives of children by providing high-quality early education and comprehensive, family-focused services. As we expand to serve more children for the 2025–2026 school year, we’re hiring passionate professionals who want to make a real difference.

Job Summary:
We’re hiring Preschool Teachers to join our Head Start team and create nurturing, engaging classrooms for children ages 3–5. If you believe in the power of early childhood education and want to help prepare children for lifelong success, we’d love to meet you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver creative, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with curriculum standards
  • Support each child’s social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment
  • Partner with families to support children’s progress
  • Track and report child outcomes and milestones
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field with ECE credits
