About the Iron Horse Hotel

Not only is it a high-end boutique hotel in a contemporary urban-loft style, which is remarkable enough for Milwaukee as it is, but it's certainly the world's first such hotel with a motorcycling theme - and it's definitely no coincidence that the Harley-Davidson museum is just across the street.
Responsibilities
โข Incorporate different ingredients in a creative way to produce fresh and innovative menu items and specials
โข Work with vendors to secure the best items at cost-effective pricing, and manage department expenses that are within your direct control such as food, supplies, uniforms, and equipment
โข Supervise all food preparation in the kitchen, including procedures, portioning, garnishing, and ensure that all meals and dishes are attractively presented
โข Teach recruits and hire staff that suit the business culture to provide a welcoming atmosphere for kitchen employees
โข Make decisions for daily culinary operations, including exceeding guest expectations and increasing revenue and profit
Qualifications
โข This role requires experience building, motivating, and leading a team
โข Candidates need a strong understanding of compliance with kitchen safety and food storage requirements
โข Possess a high school diploma or equivalent GED certification
โข At least 7-8 years of culinary experience
โข Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills with guests and coworkers
