The Role

The Business Development Team Leadership role is an opportunity to join a fun, fast paced and dynamic team that sells the Connex One product globally. We're looking for an individual that can collaborate with the Regional Head of Business Development to drive a team of Business Development Executives towards success and motivate them to exceed set KPIs and targets on a daily basis. This is a role in which you will need to lead from the front in various ways.

Main Responsibilities


  • Leading From The Front: Managing and motivating the team on a day to day basis as well as par-taking in Business Development work yourself i.e. meeting the outlined responsibilities of a Business Development Executive as per the BDE job description.
  • Operational Tools: Full understanding of how to use the designated CRM and call handling system and ensuring the team uses these tools accordingly.
  • Team Incentives: Collaborate with the Regional Head of Business Development to create and run weekly/ monthly and quarterly incentives for your team
  • Reporting: Ensuring the team meets daily call volume and talk time expectations. Running and maintaining a performance-based weekly report detailing the Initial Calls and Meeting Ready Leads booked by your team.
  • Accountability: Being responsible for tracking your team’s punctuality, identifying areas of improvement as well as verticals to target.
  • Social Leadership: Collaborating with the Regional Head of Business Development in the arrangement of team bonding activities - inside & outside the office.


Please note: BDE Disciplinaries, salary reviews and dismissals are all handled by the Regional Head of Business Development and HR Department.


Competencies, Qualifications & Experience

  • Previous outbound sales experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and professional
  • Knowledge and experience of software sales would be an advantage but not essential
  • Interpersonal skills and eagerness to work as part of a team
