Advanced Setup Technician I - 12-hour Night Shift

The Advanced Setup Technician I position is a mid- level operator role that is responsible for changing over the machines from one product/size capsule to another product/size capsule. This position is responsible for the order changes on hard capsule machines (HCMs) and various other equipment such as Unified, Unisor, ILD, iBox, etc as well as assisting to get equipment back into production. This position will follow all plant policies and safety guidelines.

What you will do
  • Ability to perform tasks and responsibilities of an Operator Support Associate (OSA) and Order Change Technician I (OCT I)

  • Must meet expectations on Safety, Attendance, Teamwork, Quality, and Productivity metrics

  • Coordinate order changes and dish washing for HCM, Unisor, and Unified equipment.

  • Ensure order quantities are met before initiating changes, using basic math skills.

  • Break down, clean, and adjust HCMs to ensure proper equipment function.

  • Inspect equipment for foreign capsules and conduct quality checks.

  • Set up and troubleshoot iBox and perform formula changes at HCM.

  • Enter order changes and setups in SCADA and SharePoint.

  • Collaborate with Manufacturing to return machines to production.

What we are looking for
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs (reasonable accommodations available).

  • Strong verbal communication and teamwork skills.

  • Must pass color vision test (score 100 or below).

  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays.

  • On-site presence at the plant is required.

  • Experience with SCADA systems and SharePoint is a plus.

Desired

  • Mechanical/Electrical background

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience as an OCT I or QMA

  • Troubleshooting experience

  • 2-year technical degree
