Job Title: Project Manager – CPQ & Tacton

Location: Old Saybrook, CT / Sutherlin, OR

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with strong CPQ and Tacton experience to lead and manage enterprise CPQ implementation and transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience managing cross-functional teams, coordinating with business and technical stakeholders, and delivering CPQ solutions using Tacton CPQ.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) implementation and transformation projects.
  • Manage projects involving Tacton CPQ, including configuration, integration, testing, deployment, and production support.
  • Define project scope, milestones, deliverables, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate with business stakeholders, product teams, architects, developers, QA teams, and external vendors.
  • Manage project plans, risks, issues, dependencies, budgets, and change requests.
  • Drive requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, and implementation activities.
  • Ensure successful integration of CPQ with CRM, ERP, PLM, and other enterprise systems.
  • Work closely with functional and technical teams to resolve project issues and remove blockers.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular status reports to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Manage UAT, defect resolution, deployment, and go-live activities.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality, timeline, and business requirements.
  • Manage multiple workstreams and priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
  • Facilitate project meetings, steering committee meetings, and stakeholder reviews.
Required Skills
  • 8+ years of Project Management experience in enterprise technology implementations.
  • Strong hands-on/project delivery experience with CPQ solutions.
  • Tacton CPQ experience is mandatory.
  • Experience managing Tacton CPQ implementation projects.
  • Strong understanding of Configure, Price, Quote processes.
  • Experience with CRM/ERP integrations and enterprise application landscapes.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with project planning, RAID management, resource management, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with both technical and business teams.
Preferred Skills
  • Tacton CPQ certification or relevant Tacton implementation experience.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Oracle, or other CRM/ERP platforms.
  • Experience with product configuration, pricing, quoting, product catalogs, and rules engines.
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
  • Experience managing global/distributed teams.
