Job description

Hasbro's Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) platform connects fans worldwide through seamless, intelligent, and data-driven digital commerce experiences. As Director of Analytics, you will lead the vision, strategy, and execution that transform data into insights powering business growth, fan engagement, and operational excellence. You will build the unified analytics foundation that enables Hasbro's DTC-as-a-Service (DTCaaS) model, delivering shared infrastructure, standardized measurement, and actionable intelligence across Pulse, D&D Beyond, and future brand storefronts.

This role blends strategic leadership with technical depth to ensure our data capabilities scale with the business and elevate fan experience, product performance, and operational efficiency. You will champion enterprise-wide data literacy, foster a culture of data-informed decision-making, and establish clear ROI frameworks to measure and communicate the impact of analytics investments.

This role is a hybrid role based in Renton, WA with three days a week expected in office.

What You'll Do

Build the Analytics Foundation for DTCaaS

  • Define the unified data architecture across our eCommerce platform and integrated systems.
  • Establish cross-brand KPIs and measurement standards spanning sales, forecasting, fulfillment, customer behavior, and financial performance.
  • Own the semantic layer, shared dashboards, and reporting assets used across all DTC brands.
  • Lead instrumentation strategy to ensure consistent, high-quality events and insights across journeys (acquisition, checkout, campaigns, fulfilment, service).
  • Implement data governance, privacy-by-design, and compliance frameworks in partnership with Legal, Security, and IT to ensure regulatory readiness and trusted insights.

Deliver Scalable, Reusable Insights Products

  • Build automated reporting and insight tools for leadership reviews, business insights, and operational actions.
  • Develop dashboards and analytic products for sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, and operations.
  • Introduce predictive modeling for sell-thru, inventory health, fulfillment operations, and customer lifetime value.
  • Create self-service analytics capabilities that empower teams while maintaining governance and data quality.
  • Define and operationalize analytics success metrics, such as insight adoption, forecast accuracy, and cycle-time reduction, to demonstrate business impact.

Drive Operational Intelligence and Cost Transparency

  • Develop models for commerce economics: shipping, payments, storage, returns, promotions, and platform cost allocation.
  • Partner with Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to enable data-driven planning and efficiency improvements.
  • Improve business insights, merchandising insights, and logistics planning across regions.
  • Integrate analytics outcomes into annual and long-range planning processes, securing executive sponsorship and linking initiatives directly to business goals.

Lead and Grow a High-Performing Analytics Organization

  • Lead business intelligence engineering and analytics talent across multiple domains.
  • Mentor and develop team members while promoting excellence, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Own the analytics intake, prioritization, roadmaps, and delivery and ensure visibility and alignment, and across functions.
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Supply Chain, and CX to embed analytics into roadmap planning and decision-making.
  • Influence leadership through clear storytelling, strategic framing, and data-driven recommendations.

Shape the Future of Hasbro's Data & Analytics Capabilities

  • Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies (AI/ML, predictive fulfillment, experimentation platforms, observability, automation).
  • Define long-term principles and architectures that scale across brands, markets, and product lines.
  • Champion DataOps, testing, lineage, and reliability standards to ensure trust in insights.
  • Drive platform performance, cost governance, and continuous improvement across datawarehouses, BI tools, and event pipelines.
  • Manage key vendor and technology partnerships to optimize platform performance, cost efficiency, and innovation across the data ecosystem.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, analytics engineering, or data engineering.
  • 5+ years leading multi-disciplinary analytics or data teams.
  • Proven ability to architect and scale data models, dashboards, forecasting tools, and analytics foundations for commerce or consumer-facing platforms.
  • Strong understanding of how analytics informs commerce, marketing, finance, supply chain, customer experience, and operations.
  • Experience partnering with engineering and product teams to influence data models, instrumentation, and system design.
  • Exceptional communication skills, able to simplify complexity and influence executives and cross-functional leaders.
  • Familiar with modern data platforms and analytics engineering concepts (Snowflake, dbt, Databricks, Tableau/Power BI), with the ability to guide technical teams and set standards without being hands-on.
  • Demonstrated success delivering measurable business impact through analytics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions to advance enterprise-wide analytics initiatives.
  • Able to apply global privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA, COPPA) when shaping data models, instrumentation plans, and reporting systems.
  • Experienced designing insights and forecasting frameworks that scale across multiple brands and regions, accounting for differences in currency, tax/VAT, catalog structure, and fulfillment workflows.
  • Background applying predictive analytics, or experimentation frameworks to strengthen demand planning, customer insight, and conversion optimization.
