Utilizing best-in-class battery, control, and drive technologies, Greenworks Tools deliver the power and performance of comparable gas-powered tools without the mess, noxious fumes, pollution, vibration, and noise associated with gas products
Position Summary:
The Assembly Line Leader will be responsible for the development and training of assembly operators. The position will be responsible for leading the assembly team and being a subject matter expert on the product and standard operating procedures and will provide feedback and reports to the Production Manager daily. This position will also assemble, wire and package products per Standard Operating Procedures; stage all assembled products in designated areas for Inspector; support Inspection and Quality activities as required; read product and package specifications; maintain a safe, clean, organized, and efficient work area and adhere to strict quality guidelines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
โ€ข Follow all safety guidelines.
โ€ข Stand and/or walk up to eight (8) hours per day.
โ€ข Frequently lift and push/pull up to 35 pounds - occasionally above shoulders. Occasionally lift and push/pull up to 75 pounds - using Team Lift as needed.
โ€ข Use of hand tools, power tools, high potential tester, lift devices, and assembly fixtures.
โ€ข Read and interpret documents, legibly fill out inspection forms, communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, and management.
โ€ข Support policies, procedures and initiatives in support of business objectives.
โ€ข Lead the assembly team.
โ€ข Perform all other duties as required.
Required Education and Experience:
3+ years of manufacturing experience. Experience in lawn equipment industry is a plus
Must be able to lead and manage others, while promoting a teamwork environment.
โ€ข Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
โ€ข Strong mechanical aptitude.
โ€ข Strong problem-solving mentality.
โ€ข Excellent presentation skills, verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
โ€ข Highly motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
โ€ข Positive attitude, exemplary attendance, and reliable team member.
โ€ข Self-starting with solid follow-through and multitasking abilities.
โ€ข Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and challenging workload.
โ€ข High school diploma or GED equivalency.
