Position Summary:
The Assembly Operator plays a critical role in our production process by building high-quality products that our customers depend on every day. This hands-on role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with tools, solving problems, and being part of a team that produces tangible results.
You will rotate through multiple stations, learn new skills, and contribute directly to the success of our operations. If you're dependable, detail-oriented, and ready to grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is a great opportunity to build your career.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble high-quality products by following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and pride in every unit produced
  • Install and secure components such as wiring harnesses, fasteners, tires, and other mechanical parts according to detailed assembly instructions
  • Operate hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and assembly fixtures safely and effectively to complete builds
  • Perform thorough inspections throughout the assembly process to ensure products meet Greenworks' quality and performance standards
  • Accurately complete required production, inspection, and quality documentation to support traceability and continuous improvement efforts
  • Rotate between multiple workstations and become cross-trained across various assembly processes to increase flexibility and efficiency
  • Proactively identify, troubleshoot, and communicate production issues, defects, or concerns to supervisors to minimize downtime and maintain workflow
  • Collaborate with team members and cross-functional departments to meet daily production targets and improve overall operations
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work environment in alignment with safety and 5S standards
  • Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and guidelines to help ensure a safe workplace for yourself and your team

Qualifications and Experience:
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of manufacturing, assembly, or production experience preferred; entry-level candidates with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions such as Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and complete basic production documentation
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, or mechanical equipment is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work
  • Positive attitude, dependable attendance, and a reputation as a reliable team player
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production needs
