Supply Chain's vision is to enable customer and mission success through supply chain strategies and execution that deliver superior operational program performance and create competitive advantage through continuous improvement. It is our mission to deliver affordable supply chain solutions that meet all program requirements and manage supply chain risks to ensure positive supplier performance through all phases of the program life-cycle from capture to sustainment.
What is it like to work as Supply Chain?



This role will offer you the following daily challenges:


Lockheed Martin Space has an immediate opportunity for a Missile Defense Programs Portfolio Supply Chain Sr. Program Manager.
Managing the supply chain organization including subcontract program managers and subcontract administrators as direct reports.
Providing technical, programmatic, and subcontract leadership experience, including day-to-day direction.
Ensuring that the program quality and mission success requirements and the suppliers are managed to the highest performance standards and that they are meeting their commitments and requirements
Ensuring compliance with all appropriate prime contract flow downs and being responsible for new business requirements, including RFP's to subs, technical evaluations, and Basis of Estimate requirements through negotiations and definitization of the subcontractor
Overseeing the negotiation and coordination of additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts
Ensuring all contractual, schedule and technical requirements are satisfied and will be managing technical teams for program hardware and software support services
Engaging in Supply Chain strategy for the overall Missile Defense Programs portfolio/mission area
Attracting, developing, and retaining subcontract management talent to continually improve the group's performance
Mentoring, coaching, and advising subordinates in their professional development


This position does not support teleworking; the preferred candidate will be located near our Lockheed Martin Space facility in Rocket City USA, one of the greatest places to work: Huntsville, AL , and be expected to work in the office.
