Job description

Jersey Chrome is an industrial hard chrome plating shop that has been in the Lawrenceville neighborhood of Pittsburgh for 77 years.


Hours are Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM and most Saturdays from 7:00 AM - 12:00 Noon. Starting pay with overtime is $47,000 per year. Bonuses are paid every 3 months, and can boost starting pay to over $50,000 per year. Health and vision insurance provided after 3 months with good attendance.


Opportunity for advancement to a machinist position or a chrome plating position.


Duties
- Forklift operation, material handling, shipping and receiving.
- Sandblasting.
- Polishing.
- General housekeeping and maintenance.
