A Chrome Plater is responsible for applying a thin layer of chromium onto metal or plastic objects through electroplating. This process enhances the object's appearance, corrosion resistance, and durability. Chrome Platers prepare surfaces by cleaning and polishing them, operate plating equipment, and ensure quality control during and after the plating process. Attention to detail and knowledge of safety procedures are essential parts of the job.

Familiarity with plating tanks, chemical handling, and quality inspection tools is typically required. Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving abilities are crucial soft skills for ensuring high-quality finishes. These skills are important because they ensure safe operations, consistent product quality, and efficiency in a precision-focused manufacturing environment.
