Happy Hall School is seeking a Full-Time Preschool Teacher.


The ideal candidate will have a commitment to supporting children's learning and development, demonstrate patience and respect towards children and their families, and maintain a professional, supportive environment conducive to learning and exploration.


Happy Hall Schools Inc. is an iconic and progressive early childhood organization serving families since 1951. We operate a range of programs for children 18 months through fifth grade at 10 locations in San Bruno, South San Francisco, Millbrae, and Pacifica.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Child Supervision

  • Assist the Lead Teacher in providing direct supervision to children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Contribute to a nurturing, stimulating environment that encourages children's social, emotional, and intellectual development.


Support in Activity Planning and Implementation

  • Assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate learning and play activities, as directed by the Lead Teacher.
  • Engage with children during planned activities to stimulate their curiosity, creativity, and foster a love of learning.


Educational Support

  • Assist in delivering the curriculum set by the Lead Teacher, and support the children as they progress.
  • Provide help to children during activities, ensuring they are engaged and understanding the material.


Classroom Maintenance

  • Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe learning environment at all times.
  • Help manage classroom resources and supplies, ensuring they are effectively utilized and replenished as necessary.


Family & Community Engagement

  • Demonstrate patience, respect, and commitment to families, supporting the Lead Teacher in responding to their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain professional and appropriate relationships with parents, teachers, and other staff.
  • Participate in parent-teacher meetings and community events as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience and interest in working with children
  • Being reliable and consistently punctual is a necessity
