Job description

White Pines Golf Club & Banquets is currently searching for Halfway House Attendants with light bartending skills, comfortability conversing with guests, and a Food Handler's License to serve a limited menu. The Halfway House is a free-standing building between the 9th and 10th holes on the golf course that offers beverages, snacks, light fare and alcohol. As a Halfway House Attendant at White Pines Golf Club, you will be responsible for ensuring our guests receive the ultimate hospitality experience. This position requires someone who likes to talk, laugh, smile and work in fast paced environments.
DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
  • Stocks and cleans halfway house and completes other pre-opening/ closing requirements
  • Prepares and serves alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of point of sales systems and basic technologies including tablets and Bluetooth.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision, and in a team environment.
  • Assures that all state and local laws and club policies and procedures for the service of food and alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
  • Knowledge of and ability to perform required role during emergency situations.
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Food Handler's Safety License
  • Alcohol Safety Training/ Basset License
  • Positive and Hardworking Attitude
  • Ability to lift 20-40 lbs (loading and unloading product while restocking)
  • Ability to follow direction
