Living Resources is seeking Direct Support Professionals for our Group Homes, Day Programs and Community Settings in Albany, Rensselaer, Schenectady and Saratoga Counties.
Our Direct Support Professionals support individuals in our Group Homes with their daily activities, including personal care. Direct Support Professionals work closely with the individuals we support to help them achieve personal goals that allow them to live as independently as possible.
Schedule: Full-time/Part-time/Light Part-time, Various days of the week - Day, Evening and Awake/overnight shifts
Our Day Community Opportunity Programs have DSP opportunities currently.Do you want to have fun with our individuals who are independent within the community? We love to help them reach their goals by participating within the community, as well as volunteering to reach their short and long term goals.
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday - 8am - 4pm
Our Site Base Day Habilitation Programs are seeking Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals at our on-site day program settings. Educational and fun activities are done on-site and off-site in the community.
Schedule: Full Time, Monday - Friday - 8am-4pm
Through our Community Habilitation Program, the Community Habilitation Instructor provides supports as specified in the Life Plan and Staff Action Plan to people with developmental disabilities living either at home with family, in a residential setting, or independently in the community.
Schedule: Part-time preferred/can build caseload up to Full-time hours, Various days of the week - Day, Afternoon & Evenings shifts
Requirements

  • Have a Valid NYS Driver's license and a HS Diploma or GED
  • Must be able to perform all tasks which require lifting, re-positioning and transferring without restriction
