Summary Assembler 1 As the largest machine tool builder in the western world, we need world-class talent in all of our departments. And we're not just looking for people for the production floor. Haas is a very vertically integrated company, with a wide range of high-tech career opportunities available. Oh, and yes, we are the same Haas that owns the Haas Factory Racing Team, and Haas F1 Team from the Netflix series: Drive to Survive. Come join us at our new 2.4 million square foot factory in Henderson, NV. Assembler 1 assembles components and machine tools under supervision. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Access and understand daily and weekly schedules.
  • Find, read & follow work instructions displayed electronically (iPad).
  • Access SAP, uses and understands applicable Transaction-Codes (T-Codes).
  • Use all required gages .
  • Identify potential problems.
  • Correctly perform one of the following processes:
    • Sheet metal enclosures or casting assembly or wiring or packing.
    • Sub-assemblies.
    • Controls.
    • Simple rotary assemblies.
  • Follows safety requirements within the department.
  • Use the correct hand tools and applicable equipment.
  • Must be able to operate both powered and non-powered material handling equipment including forklifts, pallet jack, cranes, and mobile straddle stacker lift.
  • Employees must report any damage to a supervisor or manager.
โ€ข Employees are expected to follow instructions, procedures and to escalate any issue impacting workflow, quality, etc. โ€ข Employees must exhibit honesty and integrity as well as demonstrate adherence to rules, procedures and policies.
