CNC Machinist

We are looking for a skilled CNC Machinist to join our team, working with Haas and Grob CNC machines to produce high-quality stainless-steel parts. This role is essential in ensuring precision machining, quality control, and efficient production processes in our manufacturing operations.


Key Responsibilities: Machining & Operations

  • Set up and operate milling, Haas and Grob CNC machines, ensuring accurate machining of stainless-steel parts.
  • Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, engineering drawings, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) to determine machining requirements.
  • Program CNC mills by entering instructions, setting tool registers, offsets, and conditional switches.
  • Monitor operations, verifying settings by measuring first-run parts and sample workpieces to maintain strict quality standards.
  • Maintain machining specifications by observing, measuring, and inspecting parts for precision.
  • Detect malfunctions, troubleshoot issues, and make necessary adjustments to controls and tooling.
  • Ensure adherence to ISO standards and quality assurance processes.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines, calling for repairs when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring compliance with company safety regulations.


Work Schedule:

  • Fixed schedule, 1st and 2nd shift with a 45-minute lunch.
  • Some evening or weekend work may be required based on business needs.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

5+ years of experience operating CNC machines (preferably Haas & Grob).

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling, fixturing, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Experience in CNC operations, troubleshooting, and setting up mills.

Soft Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control.
