Several locations throughout the Minneapolis metro area

Join a company where precision meets purpose.
Stable, growing, and clean companies producing high-precision, complex components for the aerospace and defense and other industries are looking for highly skilled Swiss CNC Setup Machinists to join their team.

Responsibilities & Job Duties:

As a key member of the production team, your primary responsibility will be setting up new jobs on Citizen CNC Swiss machines (Citizen, Tsugami, Star, etc.). Depending on production volumes, you'll either run the job yourself or train and hand off to an operator. The parts are typically small — and made to extremely tight tolerances.

  • Set up Swiss-style CNC machines for new production runs (Citizen, Star, Tsugami Swiss)
  • Run production or train machine operators as needed
  • Work with small, complex parts primarily for aerospace and defense applications
  • Inspect your own parts as needed, use microscopes and perform deburring when required
  • Ensure quality and precision are maintained throughout the setup and production process

Key Requirements:

  • 5–7 years of Swiss CNC setup experience
  • Strong understanding of tight-tolerance machining
  • Experience in aerospace and defense industries preferred but not required
  • Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and work with small, intricate parts

Bring your CNC Swiss machining talent to a company where you’ll make amazing, high-precision parts using new equipment in a clean, well lit, well-organized, and well-run shop. We’re looking for an experienced Swiss CNC Setup Machinist to join the team — apply now for immediate consideration!
