Job description

Swiss Machinist - 1st shift

**Sign-On Bonus Available for Select Candidates**

We are looking for a Swiss Machinist to join our Exlar team!

As a Swiss Machinist, you will produce metal parts to specifications using CNC Swiss machine tools. You will have the ability to do basic machine set-up, quality control and minor machine maintenance when required.

Location: Chanhassen, MN

Hours: Monday to Friday with shifts starting between 5-7am

Salary/hourly rate: $25.00 - $35.00

Your Challenge

  • Perform setups and run Citizen CNC swiss machines to manufacture parts using setup sheets and on-the-job guidance.

  • Perform first article inspections and in-process measurements on manufactured parts using drawings and inspection sheets.

  • Perform minor preventative maintenance on the machines when needed.

What You Bring

  • Preferred 5+ years of experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss machines, but similar or relevant experiences and skills will be considered.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

  • Experience performing measurements using calipers, micrometers, optical comparators, and other inspection instruments.

  • Must be a U.S. Person.
