Job description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Haas CNC Milling Machinist with experience in the Spartanburg, SC area!

Key Responsibilities

-Set up, manually program, and operate Haas CNC milling and/or turning centers.

-Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirements.

-Select and install tooling, fixtures, and machine attachments as needed for production.

- Monitor machine performance and make program or setup adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency.

-Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments, including micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other quality-control equipment.

- Perform offsets, tool changes, and troubleshooting to ensure accurate production.

-Maintain tight tolerances and verify dimensions throughout the machining process.

-Conduct routine machine maintenance and keep equipment in good working condition.

- Accurately document production records, inspections, and any process adjustments.

-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all company safety procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience operating and programming Haas CNC machines
  • Experience with manual CNC programming required.
  • Strong knowledge of machining practices, tooling, feeds, speeds, and blueprint reading.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, and gauges.
  • Ability to maintain close tolerances and perform quality inspections.
  • Must supply and maintain personal machinist tools.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent attendance and communication skills.

Compensation & Benefits

Pay: $24.00 per hour
