**CNC Mill Supervisor

We are an established aerospace manufacturing company seeking a dependable, experienced CNC Mill machinist to lead & supervise our CNC Mill dept.

**Position Summary:

**

This position requires an experienced individual that can lead & mentor a team of up to 4 machinists, prioritize & schedule jobs, & set-up & run multi-axis vertical CNC mills.

Compensation is based on experience.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

**

  • Set-up & run multi-axis vertical CNC mills
  • Troubleshoot prototype parts when needed
  • Read & understand G & M code in part programs
  • Prioritize & schedule jobs
  • Train & mentor others in a team environment
  • Maintainconstant, acceptable levels of dept. quality and performance
  • Coordinate with the tool crib for tooling setups
  • Maintain a clean organized work area

**Qualifications:

**

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Preferred 7+ years prior work experience as a CNC mill machinist
  • Strong work ethic, ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience leading & training others
  • Strong understanding of G,D, & T & blueprint reading
  • Knowledge of common precision inspection tools
  • Must have an attention to detail
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Must have own tools & toolbox
