Job description

This position reports directly to the Human Resource Manager and is responsible for the general and specific job duties of IAC as described below:

General Job Duties:

To exhibit teamwork skills and actively participate in team activities in a positive working environment.

To demonstrate problem solving skills in a work environment that is striving for continuous improvement.

Follow Company policies and display conduct expected of IAC employees as described in the Work Plant Rules and Work Safety Rules.

Adhere to all safety and health objectives, policies and procedures of IAC to provide for a safe and healthful workplace. Work in a safe manner at all times and report any unsafe conditions to your supervisor in order that the situation can be corrected. Report all accidents and near misses in a timely manner when they occur.

Participate and support all lean, continuous improvement programs, initiatives and activities.

Maintain professionalism when representing the company.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Specific Job Duties:

Administer Hourly Attendance Policy to include timely and consistent corrective action processing and follow-up. Maintain, update and distribute necessary documentation to the Human Resources Manager and to appropriate supervision.

Administer job bid postings, interviewing, hiring, shift changes, leaves of absence, lay-offs and vacation policy as in accordance with plant procedure and the Labor Agreement.

Administer Hourly wage progression as in accordance with the Labor Agreement, to include timely and accurate payroll entries and all applicable Change In Status forms. Ensure appropriate signatures are secured.

Administer hourly pay exceptions to include vacation pay, personal pay, Holiday pay, Bereavement, Jury Duty, etc. and the appropriate payroll entries.

Administer all hourly payroll in ADP Workforce Manager on a daily basis, including:

Run daily exception reports for Supervisors verification.

Enter Supervisors corrections into ADP Workforce Manager from exception reports.

Verify hours to labor account.

Run various reports such as, weekly check register, weekly Change In Status report, and daily labor reports.

Administer all hourly payroll in ADP including Garnishments, Union Dues, Payroll Deductions, Tax Changes & Direct Deposits

Administer and process all required ADP Workforce Manager entries.

Administer, document and track FMLA as required.

Administer Hourly unemployment compensation

Timely completion of all HR Monthly Reports.

Complete monthly union correspondence to include dues list, address list, term report and monthly dues check.

Responsible for ensuring hourly personnel records are maintained.

Type correspondence, documents and forms for the Human Resources Department.

ISO 14001, QS 9000, and TS 16949 Audit support as required.

Assist in settling complaints arising and in general promote harmonious work relations. Timely and consistent administration of the Labor Agreement.

Administer Service Award Program.

Administer Uniform Program.

Maintain H.R. Department standards of confidentiality (e.g. HIPPA requirements) and professionalism.

Adhere to and maintain all departmental, plant, and corporate goals, policies, and procedures.

Assist the H.R. Manager as required on special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from college or university with 2-3 years experience or 3-5 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment.

Experience Requirements:

Excellent computer and communication skills

3-5 years in a manufacturing HR environment, prefer experience with union

ADP Workforce Manager experience is helpful.

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities

Ability to pay attention to detail

MS Office tools fluency.

Excellent Interpersonal Skills.

Flexible work availability.

Ability to work in a team environment

Training Requirements:

This position may require travel to other facilities or training locations as well as on-site training as needed.

PPE Requirements:

This position requires the use of eye protection and hearing protection and any PPE when necessary.
