As a Guidewire developer at PwC, you will specialise in developing and customising applications using the Guidewire platform. Guidewire is a software suite that provides insurance companies with tools for policy administration, claims management, and billing. You will be responsible for designing, coding, and testing software solutions that meet the specific needs of insurance organisations.
Focused on relationships, you are building meaningful client connections, and learning how to manage and inspire others. Navigating increasingly complex situations, you are growing your personal brand, deepening technical expertise and awareness of your strengths. You are expected to anticipate the needs of your teams and clients, and to deliver quality. The Opportunity
As part of the P&C Insurance Technology Guidewire team you are expected to manage projects related to systems configurations within the Insurance industry. As a Senior Associate, you are to analyze complex problems, mentor others, and maintain rigorous standards. You are responsible for leveraging Object Oriented Programming, Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, and other related technologies to deliver solutions.
Responsibilities
- Leverage Object Oriented Programming for solutions
- Mentor and guide junior team members
- Maintain elevated standards in project deliverables
- Utilize Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and ClaimCenter
- Build and sustain client relationships
- Develop a profound understanding of the insurance industry

What You Must Have
- Bachelor's Degree
- 2 years of experience
What Sets You Apart
- Guidewire and Scrum Master Certification
- Managing projects in systems configurations within Insurance industry
- Proficiency in Object Oriented Programming
- Proficiency in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter
- Understanding Guidewire cloud concepts
- Experience with GOSU, PCFs, Business Rules, Underwriting Rules
- Skilled in Guidewire Integration Framework and Cloud APIs
- Proficiency in Rest Client API and SOAP APIs
- Experience with Spring Boot Application Development

The salary range for this position is: $77,000 - $202,000. Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, qualifications and location, and applicable employment laws. All hired individuals are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
