PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

New Account Representatives work closely with owners and property managers with new accounts to direct all parties involved through the process of getting the account correctly set up and billed for the first 3 months.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Set up new accounts and perform all duties for set up
  • Monthly billing of new accounts
  • Invoice tenants and owners
  • Send preview statements to owners
  • Learn and understand the different meters and remotes/transmitters
  • Learn and understand the different units of measure
  • Learn and understand Hexagram, Inovonics and speed-read
  • Daily correspondence with property owners/managers via email and/or phone
  • Learn and understand city rates and be able to communicate knowledge to customers
  • Work with various departments in the set up process and communicate effectively
  • Investigate numerous issues with various departments
  • Provide customer service for the accounts and make customers knowledgeable of procedures
  • Understand the company website and be able to help customers navigate and understand it as well
    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • 1 year of sub-metering experience preferred
    • 1 year experience as a call center representative or equivalent required
    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Ability to adapt to change and adjust work flow accordingly
    • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions
    • Must be very organized and have a high attention to detail
    • Consistent and reliable attendance
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize
    • Daily use of strong problem solving skills
    • Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, Gmail, Google Calendar, etc
    • Great communication skills and able to communicate clearly and professionally with owners, managers and tenants
