SUMMARY
Tamarack Resort is Idaho's premier four-season destination, offering adventure-seekers an unparalleled mountain and lake experience. Our Summer Sports School is dedicated to providing top-tier instruction in mountain biking, e-foiling, wake surfing, and wakeboarding. We're looking for passionate and skilled instructors to help our guests build confidence, improve their skills, and have an unforgettable experience on the trails and the water.
Position Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and experienced outdoor sports enthusiast/instructors who can confidently coach guests in multiple disciplines, including:
  • Mountain Biking - Lead guided rides, skills clinics, and private lessons on Tamarack's renowned bike park trails.
  • E-Foiling - Teach guests how to ride and control electric hydrofoil boards safely and effectively.
  • Wake Surfing & Wakeboarding - Provide expert instruction in wake sports while operating and managing a wake surf boat.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality instruction across multiple disciplines in a fun and safe environment.
  • Safely operate a wake surf boat, ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all participants.
  • Work with guests of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced riders, to enhance their abilities.
  • Maintain and check all equipment, ensuring proper use and safety.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and create a welcoming, encouraging atmosphere.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and other staff members.
  • Assist with set-up, clean-up, and general resort operations as needed.

Qualifications
  • Experience in one or more of these activities' mountain biking, e-foiling, wake surfing, and wakeboarding is required.
  • Ability to safely operate a wake surf boat (boating certification preferred).
  • Previous experience in sports instruction, coaching, or guiding preferred.
  • Strong swimming ability and comfort working in and around water.
  • First Aid & CPR certification (or willingness to obtain before start date).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Passion for outdoor adventure and working with people of all ages and skill levels.
