The Positional Training & Safety Instructor plays a key role in developing and empowering employees through hands-on training, onboarding, and continuous coaching in a fast-paced operational environment. This position partners closely with Operations, Training & Development, and Safety leadership to drive employee success, strengthen safety awareness, and support operational excellence. The ideal candidate is an engaging communicator and mentor who is passionate about developing people, promoting a strong safety culture, and creating a positive, team-oriented workplace. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a leadership-focused role and enjoys making a direct impact on employee growth and overall team performance.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for departmental new hires, overseeing onboarding and role-specific training.
  • Deliver hands-on training, coaching, and reinforcement practices that improve safety, operational efficiency, and employee performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Operations teams to support Training & Development and Safety programs aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct safety inspections, observations, and audits to ensure compliance with company safety standards and procedures.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to leadership and supervisors regarding employee progress, training effectiveness, and performance.
  • Maintain a coach and mentor mindset to support employee growth and foster a positive work environment.
  • Identify workplace safety concerns and recommend corrective actions or process improvements.

    • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English (verbal and written) required.

    • Training experience and OSHA safety background highly desirable.
    • Strong sense of urgency and ability to respond to critical incidents required.
    • Ability to train and coach employees in a fast-paced environment.
