Position Summary

The Swimming Pool Retail Associate is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service while assisting customers with pool products, water care solutions, equipment, and seasonal retail needs. This role supports daily retail operations by helping customers select the right products, maintaining store organization, processing transactions, and ensuring a clean and welcoming retail environment.

This position plays an important role in supporting customer satisfaction, retail sales growth, and day-to-day store operations. The ideal candidate is friendly, dependable, customer-focused, and eager to learn about pool products and water care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet customers and assist with pool product and water care recommendations

  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems and process customer transactions accurately
  • Restock shelves and maintain organized product displays and inventory areas

  • Support store promotions, seasonal merchandising, and sales initiatives

QualificationsMinimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work weekends and flexible seasonal schedules
  • Ability to lift and carry 25โ€“50 lbs
  • Strong work ethic and customer-focused attitude
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within pool retail, home improvement, or outdoor living environments preferred
  • Basic understanding of pool products, equipment, and water chemistry preferred
  • Experience using POS systems and inventory software preferred
  • Customer service or sales experience is a plus
