Job description

The Business Intelligence Analyst will play a key role in transforming data into clear, compelling insights that drive commercial strategy. This role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Development leadership to identify business needs, design analytical solutions, and deliver impactful executiveready storyboards and reporting.

The Analyst will support the management of national distributor programs and initiatives, collaborating directly with the Head of Commercial Development & Business Intelligence to ensure datadriven decision-making across the organization.

This role requires strong analytical capabilities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to synthesize complex data into simple, influential narratives for senior leadership.

Requirements

Insights & Storytelling

  • Build and deliver executivelevel storyboards and presentations that translate analytical findings into clear, businessready narratives and strategic recommendations.  Required excellence in PowerPoint. 
  • Transform complex data into actionable insights that influence commercial and distributor strategies.
  • Partner with leadership to identify opportunities, uncover trends, and tell the "story behind the numbers."

Analytics & Reporting

  • Develop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and performance reporting using Excel, Nielsen, NABCA, iDig, Karma, and other commercial data sources.
  • Perform complex analysis of large datasets to provide visibility into depletions, distribution, program performance, and competitive trends.
  • Support organizational data governance and the ongoing improvement of data quality, consistency, and accessibility.

Commercial Development & Distributor Program Support

  • Collaborate with the Head of Commercial Development & Business Intelligence to support the design, evaluation, and reporting of national distributor programs.
  • Provide data-driven insights that enhance distributor management, program optimization, and commercial execution.
  • Serve as a key analytical resource for national and regional commercial planning.

Requirements:

    • Bachelor's Degree required (Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar quantitative fields preferred).
    • 2+ years of experience in business analysis, commercial analytics, or a related discipline (spirits, beverage, CPG, or distributor experience strongly preferred).
    • Hands-on experience with industry data sources (iDig, NABCA, Nielsen, DISCUS, Karma) and analytical tools.
    • Proven ability to interpret data and communicate insights clearly, including crafting compelling business stories for senior leadership.
    • Strong relationship-building skills and comfort working closely with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment; high attention to detail.
    • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
