Job description

THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 32 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION - PERMANENT.

This National Guard position is for a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST, Position Description Number NGD2195000 and NGD2196000 and is part of the Guam G4 Directorate of Logistics, National Guard.

Qualifications:

MILITARY GRADES:
Enlisted: E5 - E7
COMPATIBLE MILITARY ASSIGNMENTS:
Enlisted: 92 Series
GS-07 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-05). Experience, education, or training in work involving logistical support functions such as supply, food service, subsistence, maintenance, or related operations. Experience following established procedures and instructions; maintaining records and accountability; processing routine supply or logistical actions; assisting with inventory, ordering, receipt, storage, or distribution of supplies; and providing administrative or operational support to an organization.
GS-09 SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Applicant must have at least one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade level (GS-07). Experience, education, or training in work involving logistical support functions such as supply, food service, subsistence, maintenance, quality assurance, facilities, or related operations. Experience independently applying established policies, regulations, and procedures; coordinating supply, subsistence, or logistical support requirements; monitoring inventory, accountability, or operational requirements; identifying and resolving routine program or operational problems; and planning and organizing work to meet mission requirements.

Education:

In lieu of specialized experience, the following education is required to qualify for position:

At the GS-07 level, qualifying education must consist of:

  • 1 full year of graduate level education or
  • superior academic achievement

At the GS-09 level, qualifying education must consist of:

  • master's or equivalent graduate degree
  • 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree

You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
