Job description

Client Relationship Manager

Northwestern Mutual - Knoxville is seeking a service minded, dynamic, highly organized individual who will specialize in client service, support with firm marketing, branding, community involvement and ensure efficient and smooth operations of a high quality financial advisory practice. The ideal candidate will be friendly and outgoing with experience in client service and managing a large client base. The person serves as a primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries on matters pertaining to client services. This individual will need strong written/verbal skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.

Essential duties:

  • Serve as main point of contact for clients and management of full client experience
  • Managing a broad variety of professional administrative tasks including updating calendar, setting appointments and making any adjustments as needed.
  • Client communication to schedule follow up meetings, other needed appointments
  • Coordinate and maintain client information, work with clients to obtain necessary documents and files, confirm receipt and send client information.
  • Monitor and oversee client process from application through underwriting.
  • Preparing detailed professional and friendly correspondence.
  • Prioritizing incoming and outgoing calls as related to daily needs and goals.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Support in marketing and branding efforts as well as community involvement strategy.
  • Support clients in setting up and navigating the consumer website.
  • Communicate with home office and outside vendors to resolve client account issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer/client service and administrative support, preferably in the financial services and/or insurance or investment industry.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software.
  • Financial Service or Insurance experience preferred. Life and Health as well as Series 6/63 Licenses preferred - or willingness to gain within a year.
