Account Executive - Hunter/Consultative Sales (US & Canada - Remote)

About the Role

Blacksmith is seeking a consultative Account Executive to drive growth across both project-based engagements and ongoing marketing services. You’ll work with a diverse range of clients across industries, partnering closely with SDRs, strategists, and leadership to win high-value business and expand existing accounts. This role suits a confident communicator who excels in virtual selling, deep discovery, and managing complex, multi-step sales cycles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle from discovery through close.

  • Generate new business while growing existing client relationships.

  • Lead consultative discovery, solution development, and stakeholder alignment.

  • Manage complex deals with multiple decision-makers.

  • Partner with SDRs to convert warm leads into opportunities.

  • Deliver compelling virtual presentations and proposals.

  • Negotiate contracts and support legal/procurement processes.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure strong client outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying Account Executive role.
