Controller $110,000+ ANNUALLY plus Annual 20% Bonus

SAVARD Personnel Group is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations and provide strategic financial oversight. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven accounting professional with strong leadership skills and extensive experience in financial reporting, cost accounting, and process improvement.

Job Responsibilities
  • Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, financial reporting, and month-end/year-end close processes.
  • Manage and improve general accounting and cost accounting functions.
  • Prepare accurate financial statements and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis initiatives.
  • Develop, implement, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Provide financial guidance and strategic recommendations to executive leadership.
  • Supervise and mentor accounting staff while promoting a collaborative team environment.
  • Manage relationships with auditors, vendors, financial institutions, and other external partners.
  • Ensure the confidentiality of sensitive financial information.
  • Lead change management initiatives and implement improvements to key business processes.
  • Complete additional accounting and financial projects as assigned.

Key Requirements:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • CPA highly preferred
  • Must have hands-on accounting experience with increasing responsibility in financial operations
  • Must have held a Controller-level or senior accounting leadership position
  • Demonstrated ownership of full-cycle accounting and reporting functions
  • Strong background in General & Cost Accounting
  • Experience in manufacturing or chemical environments preferred
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
