We are looking for a Senior Group Financial Controller to join our skilled, dedicated and energetic reporting team of five employees, which is overall responsible for our IFRS Annual Report, including the group controlling and consolidation of more than 10 companies and regulatory reporting. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Group Financial Controlling.

The Group Financial controlling team are responsible for monthly group consolidation and reporting processes, IFRS Group Annual Report, regulatory reporting to the Danish authorities. Further, we are responsible for coordination with the external auditors. We are working together with Head of Financial Compliance who is our IFRS expert and further we work closely with the Commercial Finance team.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be a key player in Saxo's external reporting procedures spanning from external reporting, optimisation of processes and working with our consolidation system.

To succeed in this role your strong controlling and reporting skills will contribute to the solving of complex accounting issues. You will be able to engage in close collaboration with the rest of your team as well as with our many stakeholders throughout the organisation.

Your profile

  • 6+ years of experience from an auditing firm or working with financial controlling
  • Experience with IFRS is an advantage
  • Relevant higher education: Master of Science in Business Administration and Auditing or Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Financial and Management Accounting)
  • Experience in the financial sector is not needed

You are a team player willing to share learnings and new ideas. Additionally, you have a flair for communicating at different management levels.
