Job description

We are seeking a hard-working, self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving abilities and hands-on experience operating a variety of lawn equipment, including a tractor-pulled mower. This role is based on a 15-acre private property located in East Edmond.

In addition to maintaining the private property, this position also includes assisting with property maintenance, remodeling, and maintenance requests for Lu-Ray Property Management, a locally owned company with rental properties located throughout Edmond and the North Oklahoma City metro area.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the grounds, pool, and all areas of the property to a high standard. This includes: mowing, weed-eating, spraying, tree trimming, tree removal, fertilizing, etc.
  • Perform seasonal outdoor work in both hot and cold conditions.
  • Ensure upkeep and functionality of lawn equipment and tools.
  • Assist the property owner with additional tasks as needed.
  • Provide support to Lu-Ray Property Management for maintenance and remodeling of rental properties across Edmond and North OKC.
  • Preparing rental properties for new tenant move-ins, including completing make-ready tasks such as repairs and general maintenance.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of performing manual repairs and physical labor.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening.

Preferred Skills:

  • Working knowledge of general maintenance methods and landscaping.
  • Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and lawn equipment.
  • Manual dexterity and physical strength.
  • Willingness to work overtime when necessary.

Compensation Based On Experience:

A resume must reflect experience and working knowledge of the job to be qualified for the highest pay. Individuals with no experience or minimal experience will start at an entry-level rate.
