What You'll Do
As a Grounds & Equipment Technician, you will care for our grounds and equipment and other assets, keeping them in the best possible condition.
Responsibilities include:
  • Team collaboration
  • Assigned work ticket completion
  • Mowing and weed-eating assigned areas
  • Fence repairs
  • Equipment repairs (mowers, weed eaters, tractors, backhoe, skidsteer, etc.).
  • Landscaping (hedges, flowers, mulch, rock, etc.).
  • Tree trimming (brush, logs, etc.).
  • Firewood processing
  • Pasture maintenance (brush hog, pasture spraying ect).
  • Weed spray (driveways, fence lines ect).
  • Equipment operation (backhoe, skidsteer, tractor, man lift, etc.)
  • Concrete work
  • Road work (asphalt, gravel, concrete, culverts ect).
  • Work/oversee student workers
  • Work/oversee with volunteer group
  • Preventive maintenance
  • Adhere to Cookson Hills policy & procedures
  • Provide safe work environments
