Groundskeeper Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Groundskeeper to maintain the appearance, cleanliness, safety, and functionality of our outdoor grounds and landscaping. This position is responsible for lawn care, landscaping, grounds maintenance, tree and shrub maintenance, weed control, mulching, pond maintenance, and groundskeeping equipment maintenance.

The ideal candidate will have experience with landscaping or grounds maintenance and be comfortable performing physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining attractive, safe, and well-kept outdoor spaces.

Groundskeeper Duties and Responsibilities

  • Mow, edge, trim, and maintain lawns and grassy areas
  • Perform routine lawn care and landscape maintenance
  • Trim and maintain trees, shrubs, bushes, and other plants
  • Perform weed control, mulching, planting, watering, and fertilizing as needed
  • Maintain and clean ponds, water features, and surrounding areas
  • Remove leaves, branches, litter, debris, and other hazards from grounds
