About the Candidate / Role

Tradewind Aviation is looking for a full-time Supervisor, Southeast Ground Operations to be based in Stuart, FL. The purpose of the Supervisor, Southeast Ground Operations, is to supervise and help streamline day-to-day operations at all Southeast stations. The ideal candidate will be customer service focused and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be flexible with work schedule and able to work weekends and holidays. 


Essential Functions

  • Assist in supervising the concierge; assist in ensuring team members are properly trained including service, expectations, and policies. 
  • Ensure everyone is professional and most importantly safe.  
  • Monitor performance and recommend corrective action. Alert management of potentially serious issues. 
  • Travel to each location in the Southeast to cover shifts as needed.
  • Manage scheduling for concierge and ramp agents.  
  • Assist in the confirmation of hours worked with Paylocity.  
  • Point of contact for the office and outside vendors.   
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned which may include assisting the ramp agents.
  • Maintaining facility readiness at all locations, including inventory and daily upkeep,  
  • Manage the catering inventory for the SE  
  • Assist with the management of the crew cars with the SE team. 
  • Alert PR team when a crew car is showing maintenance on the tracking system.  
  • Assist in training of Client Experience, assuring the vision of CX is being met. 
  • Assisting in audits of each airport with the Director of Safety in SE.

  • Ability to lift 75 pounds.

  • Strong attention to detail with the knack to remember and recognize names and faces 

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of standing outdoors.  
  • Ability to walk and stand and carry luggage for extended periods of time throughout the workday. 
  • Must be able to lift 75 pounds. 

Working Conditions:

  • Exposure to outdoor elements including heat, cold, rain, wind, and sun during ramp and operational duties. 
  • Potential exposure to environmental factors such as: Aircraft fumes and exhaust
