Job Summary
The Environmental Coordinator USA is responsible for providing support for continual improvement of our environmental compliance including air emissions, waste reduction, reuse and recycling as well as compliance of the Ground Effects Environmental Management System written in accordance to the ISO14001:2015 Standard.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in Internal and External ISO 14001:2015 Audits and Environmental Plant Inspections.
  • Develop, implement, improve programs, supporting the tracking/monitoring of data established within the Environmental Management System.
  • Identify Continual Improvement opportunities to Reduce, Reuse and Recycle within the Ground Effects Environmental Management System.
  • Maintain environmental records for US locations.
  • Work with Environmental Management team to identify potential risks and their potential environmental impact on products and/or processes within each facility.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental engineering, environmental sciences, or related field

Preferred:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering / Sciences or equivalent
  • ISO 14001:2015 Auditor Training

Experience
Minimum Required:
  • 2+ years of experience in Environmental Management within a manufacturing and / or production environment.

Preferred:
  • 2+ years of environmental experience in an Automotive Manufacturing Processes.

Job Specific Skills
Minimum Required:
  • Must maintain a valid Driver's License,
  • Must be able to work independently or with a team
  • Excellent computer skills in MS Office

Preferred:
  • Passport preferred
  • Knowledge of established software systems such as Smartsheet and SharePoint
  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills.
  • TS16949 or IATF 16949, Quality Audits, and Environmental Management System and OSHA Requirements
Working Conditions
The following working conditions are present or expected on a daily basis:
  • Office setting in a manufacturing/production floor environment with administrative assignments.
  • Frequent exposure to industrial manufacturing, automotive vehicles, weather elements, chemicals and robotics.
  • Must comply with all Company policies, procedures and work instructions.
  • Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times while on the production floor.
