Job description

Pharmacy - Pharmacist - Inpatient

VIBRA TRAVELS is seeking a Travel Inpatient Pharmacist to join our expanding network of healthcare professionals. We're looking for dependable, detail-focused travelers with experience providing pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting. If you're ready to support safe and effective medication management while traveling the country, this is your opportunity!

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Pharmacist in the state of employment required
  • Minimum of two (2) years of recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited program required
  • Experience verifying medication orders and preparing and dispensing medications in an inpatient setting required
  • Current, valid, and active driver's license required
  • Ability to travel using publicly available air and ground transportation

Certificates, Licensures, Registrations:

  • Current, valid, and active state license to practice as a Pharmacist required
  • Current BLS certification from a Vibra Travels-approved vendor required, AHA preferred and required by some clients
  • Additional certifications may be required by Vibra Travels and/or client

Additional Qualifications/Skills:

  • Experience collaborating with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient medication safety, dosing, and clinical protocols
  • Familiarity with computerized physician order entry (CPOE) systems and pharmacy information systems
  • Ability to perform medication reconciliation and participate in clinical consults as required
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • Free from illegal drug use and effects of alcohol in the workplace
