Grinder Operator

Location: Brighton, MI Shift: 1st and 2nd Pay: Based on Experience

Are you a skilled Grinder Operator looking to join a dynamic team in heavy industrial manufacturing? This could be the perfect opportunity for you!
Responsibilities:
  • Operate grinding equipment to finish and shape components including chains, wheels, rollers, conveyors, cartridge-style bearings, and levelers for heavy industry.
  • Set up and operate ID/OD grinder.
  • Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, and gauges to ensure specifications are met.
  • Maintain equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 4 years of grinding experience required for operators.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
