Job description

Grind Operator
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a reliable and motivated Grind Operator for a company based in Lewisburg, TN. This is an entry-level, non-skilled position ideal for individuals with excellent hand dexterity and the ability to work with small, delicate parts such as springs. No mechanical experience is required; however, candidates must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks and maintaining attention to detail throughout the shift
 
Pay Rate
$14.00 per hour
  • Schedule and Hours
    • 2nd Shift: 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
    Some OT required, including evenings and Saturdays
    Manufacturing Operator Duties and Responsibilities
  • Handle, sort, and process small springs and components
  • Perform grinding and finishing operations according to company standards 
  • Inspect parts for quality and accuracy 
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area 
  • Follow all safety procedures and production guidelines 
  • Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards 
  • Work effectively as part of a team
 
Qualifications and Requirements
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Mechanical aptitude preferred
• Ability to stand for a 10-hour shift
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Background check and drug screening required
